Brian Michell
DVM
Dr. Brian Michell was born and raised in Conshohocken, PA. He graduated from Cornell University in 1991 and afterward pursued a job in neuroscience at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. His love of animals led him to leave research and pursue a veterinary degree from the University of Goergia, graduating in 1999. An internship in small animal medicine and surgery brought him to San Diego, where he lives now with his partner, three dogs, many fish and various foster animals and strays. He enjoys the challenge of working with all the animal species cared for at the Animal and Bird Hospital, and focuses on client education and a doctor-client team approach to creating the healthiest life for his patients.
